Mr. Naresh Kumar Garg is has a Masters degree in Business Administration in the area of finance. He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and a chartered engineer.

Mr. Garg has a rich experience of over 18 years in the Indian mutual fund industry. He has handled fund management with regard to offshore funds, domestic equity funds and hybrid funds.

He was the recipient of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship 2002 for Senior Executives sponsored by the British Govt. and the Manchester Business School. Mr. Garg joined Sahara Mutual Fund in 2004 as its Chief Investment Officer.

Majority of the equity schemes being managed under his guidance at Sahara Mutual Fund now feature in the Global Top 100 Best Performing Equity Funds. Sahara Tax Gain Fund features among the Top 10 Best Performing Funds in the world over a 10-year performance period.
